KitKat just pulled off the ultimate “have a break” flex, and this time it comes with engines.
Our favorite chocolate officially teamed up with Formula 1, aka the world’s most loved, most chaotic, blink-and-you-miss-it sport. Yes, that viral “break” moment is now a whole thing, complete with a new KitKat range zooming into stores across the US, EU, and UK (timed perfectly with the F1 calendar). And in 2026, the partnership is not just alive, it is flying.

The Break Philosophy
The idea is simple and honestly genius: F1 brings the adrenaline. KitKat brings the “pause and snack” energy.
So fans get to enjoy a proper break between heart-racing laps with immersive experiences that go beyond just watching. Think booths, activities, and multi-sensory moments that make you feel like you are part of the race… but with chocolate in hand.

Innovation At Speed
Added to this, the chocolate confectionary made options - waffers flavour, car shaped bars - the first of it’s kind. This moulded masterpiece came with nutritional values mentioned as ‘per bar’ instead of ‘per car’. Featuring a smooth milk chocolate shell with embedded crispy cereal and wafer pieces, the product was developed using Nestlé's R&D expertise in collaboration with the Nestlé San Sisto factory, where it is produced.

And then comes the real fun: KitKat did not just slap an F1 logo on a wrapper and call it a day.
They rolled out playful, speed-inspired products like wafer flavors and even car-shaped bars. The best part? This shiny new “molded masterpiece” reportedly lists nutrition per bar, not “per car”, which is exactly the kind of chaos we respect.
The bar itself is built like a snack-meets-engineering project:
Smooth milk chocolate shell
Crispy cereal and wafer pieces inside
Developed using Nestlé R&D expertise
Made in collaboration with the Nestlé San Sisto factory (where it is produced)
And it does not stop there. A second product, the F1 KitKat Chunky, is also set to hit shelves in Europe. This one uses Nestlé’s proprietary tech to create a marbling effect inspired by F1 speed, made for people who want their chocolate to look as dramatic as it tastes.
More products are expected as the partnership keeps evolving.
Launched during the 2025 season to mark the 90th anniversary of KitKat and Formula 1's 75th, the partnership debuted in Mexico and Brazil, with further activations in Ecuador. Early findings show that the collaboration helped strengthen the image of KitKat as a modern, global brand and deepened its connection with the fast growing F1 fan community.
